STEEL IS RENEWABLE RESOURCE


In consumption society is durability of goods ever shorter. Abandoned goods are burden for environment.

Steel is a lasting material. Steel in abandoned goods can be entirely recycled, without any alteration of its properties.

Steel in abandoned goods is not waste, but raw material, which is used by steel plants which melt waste into new products.

One half of all steel made in the world originate out of recycled steel scrap.

MAKING STEEL


Scrap is melted in a 50 tonnes capacity furnace, which is heated with electricity.

Elements, which improve steel properties, are added in a ladle furnace.

Steel bars of various shapes and dimensions are made by hot rolling.

According to customers orders, the surface of bars can be treated by peeling, drawing and grinding.

EXEM STEEL


Steel, branded as EXEM, is treated with calcium during process to improve its machining properties.

It enables increase of machining speeds and reduces tool wear.

SPRING STEEL


Production of the spring steel requires addition of some substances (silicon, chromium, vanadium) and removal of another (hydrogen).

Properties of such steel are elasticity, ability for plastic work and durable dynamic strength.

FORGING STEEL


Forging steel must have special properties, required by final product and also ability for plastic work, because products from modern forge shops are of complex shapes.
