Adjuster – Controller | Rolling Mill – Finishing Department

Responsibilities

• Preparing material for processing according to production documentation
• Operating visual inspection equipment and visually inspecting cold-processed rolled products; correcting defects where necessary by grinding or polishing
• Separating conforming from non-conforming rolled products with visible surface defects, monitoring cut quality, and assisting with other finishing operations on cold material
• Checking the straightness and dimensions of profiles
• Stacking profiles and securing them into bundles using wire and strapping
• Weighing and moving bundles by crane
• Checking the straightness and appearance of profiles straightened on hydraulic presses and repeating the straightening process when necessary

Qualifications and expectations

• Level IV or V vocational or secondary technical education
• Completed formal education is preferred but not a mandatory requirement
• Ability to work as part of a team, initiative and attention to detail
• Willingness to work shifts and undertake further training
