Structural steel

Structural steels are intended for load-bearing applications requiring defined mechanical properties, weldability, and reliable processing behavior.

Their chemical composition and controlled rolling or normalizing conditions provide the required combination of yield strength, toughness, ductility, and formability for structural and engineering applications.

Depending on the grade and delivery condition, the steels are suitable for welding, machining, flame cutting, bending, and hot or cold forming processes.

Typical applications include welded steel structures, support systems, machine frames, transport equipment, and general construction components.
