Bearing-housing steel
Bearing-housing steels are designed to provide stable support conditions for rolling bearings operating under combined radial and axial loads.
Their chemical composition and controlled production routes provide good machinability, dimensional stability, and reliable mechanical properties required for precise machining and assembly operations.
Depending on the grade and delivery condition, the steels can offer suitable weldability, toughness, and resistance to operational loading in industrial environments.
Typical applications include bearing housings, support rings, bearing carriers, machine supports, and related structural components.
