Adjuster – Controller 1 | Rolling Mill – Rolling Lines Department

Responsibilities

• Monitoring the cutting of rolled profiles on the 1,000-tonne shears
• Monitoring the process flow of cut profiles through to weighing, including conveyors, stacking pockets, strapping equipment and weighing
• Monitoring the weighing process, recording bundle weights and attaching labels to bundles
• Inspecting rolled profiles and bundles, including their length, straightness, cuts and bundle shape

Qualifications and expectations

• Level IV or V vocational or secondary technical education
• Completed formal education is preferred but not a mandatory requirement
• Ability to work as part of a team, initiative and attention to detail
• Willingness to work shifts and undertake further training
